Having Fun With Shatter Polish

This weekend I wanted to do some fun nail polish so I mixed my Orly matte polish in turquoise with the the OPI black shatter polish on top. I love the way it came out, and just wanted share this fun combination. The shatter polish is so much fun, that I’m going to do the new silver polish I just bought underneath it. I promise to share photos.

  1. I bought the black one too this month. I love it. It bring new life to old nail polish.

  2. I am absolutely obsessed with OPI. And I’ve been wanting to try Shatter forever, but a friend of mine told me that it’s really bad for those who have really weak nails. Would you say the same? I’m mildly disappointed that I might not be able to try it! It looks so cool!

    • You know I don’t think that’s the case. I say that on the basis that the shatter never really touches your nails, if you put a nail polish underneath. Maybe put a strengthening base coat with a strengthening color under the shatter, and then try it. Put a strengthening top coat, and that should do it. I wouldn’t want you not to try it. 😀
