I Was Just A LaserAway

A few weeks ago I was invited to try some services at LaserAway. I decided I’d get my underarm hair removed.

When I arrived at the West Hollywood location of LaserAway, there was a wonderful welcome from the owner and his sister who is helping run that location. Todd was very informative and was so welcoming to us. He explained how LaserAway (@laseraway) started out with plastic surgeons doing face lifts, and just expanded from there. They do various rejuvenation procedures like Microderm and Botox.

The nurse who was going to do my hair removal laser treatment called me in. She was probably one of the more informed people I’ve met when it comes to skin treatments. She was so helpful, and really explained everything clearly.

Sure the whole thing was uncomfortable, but in all honestly it was nothing for now. I know they’ll increase the amount of voltage every time I go back, but it will be worth it not to have to shave my underarm hair.

It’s been 3.5 weeks since I had it done, and I haven’t had to shave once. I’ll definitely be continuing the treatment until I don’t have to any more. With 10 locations in California you can definitely find a location near you. The well informed staff make every moment well worth the trip.

I was given treatment from LaserAway. I was not further compensated. The above is my opinion, swayed only by my inner Fashionista.

  1. I would totally love to have this done someday. I envy your freedom from the razor.

    • Chloe,
I feel so dumb for not having done it before. I kept saying I would, and now it’s like what have I been waiting for? Get up and go do it. Thanks for stopping by.

  2. I’d love to do this too! Shaving my legs is actually painful for me because of super dry skin due to Sjogren’s Syndrome. My 24 year old daughter has done both her underarms and legs. She says it is such a time saver and no stubble ever.
