Great post and a helpful one to reference for next year. I was a newbie this year and also a participant in operation glory! I live here in SD and I was physically and mentally shot each day from the conference, there is just so much to see and hear. Glad I stumbled onto your blog from the skinny scoop!

Oh, how I need this. I haven’t been to BlogHer yet, almost made it this year, and after reading everyone’s comments about exhaustion and burn out, missing people they really wanted to connect with, I wondered if this was right for me. Now armed with your advice, I feel as if it has made it back up on my ‘to do’ list.

And about the biz cards, I always jot a few notes, which is why I prefer a matt finish, but I love having them taped into a conf. notebook with more space to write and no worries if they’re glossy. Thank you.

So sad I didn’t get to say goodbye to you. I think it just means we need an excuse to meet somewhere before next year’s BlogHer.

As always your advice is wonderful. I so need to come up with a system for business cards, much like Grace I’m left wondering who the heck these people and what I promised them!

I’m so glad we got to meet. I told Andrea that I think you’re fantastic! Fortunately, for me I wasn’t in any of those pictures! I love my Mama Mio stuff, and next year we need another PJ party for sure.
